Juventus have signed former Inter Milan star Andrea Chiesa on a three-year contract, the Italian club announced on Friday.
The 25-year-old was part of the Inter squad that won the Serie A title in 2019 and also played in the UEFA Champions League final that year. He scored four goals in 44 appearances for Inter during his time at the club.
Chiesa has been with Juventus since January 2017 and made 21 appearances for them last season. He will now compete with Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo for playing time at the club.
"Juventus is a great team with great history," said Chiesa. "I am very happy to be here."
Chiesa's signing comes as Juventus look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of next season. The club has already signed Paulo Dybala from Parma and is expected to make further signings before the transfer window closes.
Inter, meanwhile, will miss Chiesa's services after he left the club in January 2020. The striker had struggled for form at the San Siro and it was reported that he had not been offered new terms by the club.
Chiesa is one of several players who have joined Juventus this summer, including midfielder Blaise Matuidi and forward Federico Bernardeschi.
