Gabriel Barbosa is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Portuguese club FC Porto and the Brazil national team. He has been one of the most prolific scorers in the history of the game, with over 100 goals scored. In his career, Barbosa has played for several clubs including Corinthians, São Paulo, Santos, and Santos Laguna.
Barbosa was born on October 19, 1987, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He started his career at Corinthians before moving to Santos Laguna in 2011. Barbosa made his debut for Santos Laguna in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 2012, scoring his first goal in the league for Santos Laguna in the same year.
In 2015, Barbosa moved to Santos, where he won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B twice and the Copa do Brasil once. He then joined Santos Laguna in 2016, where he won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A two years later. During his time at Santos Laguna, Barbosa also played for several other clubs such as Internacional and Flamengo.
